SEE Mathematics: The Chapters That Matter Most

Not every chapter carries the same marks in the SEE board exam. Here is where to spend your time.

SEE Mathematics: The Chapters That Matter Most

In the SEE mathematics board exam, algebra, geometry and statistics dominate the marks, and they are also the chapters where most students lose easy points through careless arithmetic. Set theory is quick to secure. Geometry rewards diagram practice — draw every figure cleanly even in rough work, because graders look for the construction. Statistics questions are formulaic; master the three means and the median formula cold. Leave the hardest proof questions for the last pass: they carry the same marks as a straightforward algebra question but take three times as long under exam pressure. Time management in the hall matters more than speed at home.
