About M. B. Kedia Dental College

MBKDC was established in 2063 BS to cater the needs of the people in Parsa and adjoining districts as well as the bordering areas of India. BDS Program was initiated with the aim to produce competent, skillful, knowledgeable & caring Dentists with a social commitment on the basis of health care needs of Nepal. Prior to establishment of the college MBKD Institute was registered in 2057 BS and started its operations with OPD services in the premises of RM Kedia Eye Hospital. The college is affiliated to TU and recognized by the NMC and Ministry of Education, Government of Nepal. Objective > To provide quality and economical Dental Health care to the people. > To conduct Teaching, Research and Health services in Dental Health Sciences. > To organize Dental Health Extension Services in rural areas for prevention and control of dental diseases through organized Dental Health check-up camps and through Dental Health Education Program. > Finally producing competent dental and oral health care professional to serve for the country and poor people. Under the supervision of the supreme regulatory body of medical education and professionals, the Nepal Medical Council, the highest priority of the college has been to impart quality education and produce competent highly qualified dental surgeons as per the norms, guidelines specified by the NMC and standards set by IOM, TU and Ministry of Education.
