Finding a book shouldn't cost you a day
Scolar is one place for every scholar and student in Nepal: the study materials, supplies and information you need, without the shop-to-shop hunt.
A room, a few friends, and one stubborn problem
Scolar began with a handful of friends in a single room, selling books online. The more we talked to students and readers across Nepal, the more one complaint kept coming back: finding the right book was a whole-day job. Readers couldn't locate the titles they needed. Students went shop to shop for course materials. Even basic stationery meant touring half the city.
So we went all in on the online medium and built Scolar: one place where every scholar and student can find the study materials, supplies and information they need, without losing hours walking from one shop to the next.
We're not done. Our goal is to open a library that readers can walk into and read any book we carry. We work toward it every single day.
Every scholar and student, one place, instead of a day spent walking shop to shop.
Three errands that took all day
One title, ten shops
Now it is one catalogue and a search box, with delivery to every corner of the country.
Course materials scattered everywhere
Syllabus books, references and exam guides for TU, KU, NEB and CTEVT, gathered in one storefront.
Stationery meant a separate trip
Pens, notebooks and exam supplies sit in the same cart as your books.
