A Clockwork Orange Penguin Modern Classics

A Clockwork Orange is Anthony Burgess’s dark, inventive dystopian novel about violence, choice, and state control. It follows the brutal teenage delinquent Alex and his gang as they roam a nightmarish future, then confront the consequences of the government’s re-education program. This Penguin Modern Classics critical edition restores Burgess’s original text and includes notes, interviews, and a glossary of Nadsat slang.
