A Kids Book About Unconscious Bias

We all have unconscious biases, but we can also choose curiosity and empathy over our own assumptions. This is a kids’ book about unconscious bias. A bias is when we have an assumption about someone else that’s not based on facts. Unconscious bias means we're making assumptions and don't even realize it. And guess what? We ALL do it – but we can also do something about it! This book was made to give kids aged 5-9 a deeper understanding of unconscious bias. The author does this by posing thoughtful questions, and encourages you to challenge the way you see others while staying curious.
