As You Like It

As You Like It is a five-act pastoral comedy by William Shakespeare, written around 1598–1600 and first published in the 1623 First Folio. It follows Rosalind and Celia as they flee a hostile court for the Forest of Arden, where Rosalind disguises herself as Ganymede and explores love, identity, and freedom with Orlando. The play blends romance, wordplay, songs, mistaken identity, and reconciliation. Its final act resolves family conflicts and unites several couples in marriage.
