Bhang Journeys Stories Histories Trips And Travels

“Bhang Journeys: Stories, Histories, Trips and Travels” blends memoir, travel writing, and cultural history to trace how bhang and ganja shape lives and landscapes in Odisha and beyond. Drawing on a decade of addiction on Puri’s beaches and later years of sobriety, Bahibala moves between diary‑like reminiscences, trippy encounters, and carefully researched facts and figures about cannabis culture. The result is a wild, often funny yet sobering narrative that explores pleasure, dependence, law, religion, and economy around one of South Asia’s most enduring intoxicants.
