Long Book Description: Dream of Consciousness is a short but potent collection of contemplations on Advaita, the ancient Indian teaching of 'Non-Duality', by Chaitanya S. Balsekar - the younger brother of Ramesh Balsekar and fellow disciple of the legendary Advaita sage, Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj. In this book, Chaitanya elucidates the fundamental principles of Advaita in a unique and original voice that forms a bridge between the teachings of his world famous Guru and his brother Ramesh. Each contemplation hits home on the subject with profound depth, gradually building a comprehensive tapestry of Understanding - culminating in an Advaitic interpretation of the Gayatri Mantra that offers up the ephemeral ego itself into the sacrificial fire of Pure Divine Presence. Dream of Consciousness is 'hard core' Advaita, and Chaitanya Balsekar does not pull his punches. It is a must read for serious lovers of the subject. There's always the chance that while meandering within its pages, you'll be one of the lucky ones who gets 'knocked out'
