Light Of Asia

Sir Edwin Arnold's Light of Asia is an all time classic that has cheered the hearts of those in search of the middle path. Arnold in the most exquisite poetry conveys to us the life story of Prince Gautama, known as The Buddha, as if spoken by a Buddhist of the time, who had witnessed his birth and his rise. This all time classic has over the years enthused the Christian world and has been translated into many languages. Arnold has thus brought to life the Buddha's life and teaching to the many in the western world who had remained ignorant of the existence of this world teacher and his all encompassing spiritual teaching for more than two and half millennia,.
