Little Owls First Day

Little Owl’s First Day is a gentle picture book about Little Owl’s very first day at school, when he would much rather stay home with Mummy and Baby Owl than face a “big day.” With encouragement from Mummy and a warm welcome from teacher Miss Oopik, Little Owl slowly joins in—painting rockets, learning to fly, sharing snacks, and making a tiny new friend—until he realises that school can be fun and safe after all. Perfect for children starting nursery or preschool, the story gently acknowledges worries about separation while showing how new routines, teachers, and friends can turn scary beginnings into happy adventures.
