Little People Big Dreams J R R Tolkien

“J. R. R. Tolkien” in the Little People, BIG DREAMS series is a picture-book biography that introduces children to Tolkien’s early love of languages, maps and old legends, and shows how those interests grew into The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. The book traces how his school years, fascination with Old English and later invention of Middle-earth helped shape the hobbits, elves, dwarves and wizards that made him famous.
