On Right Livelihood

On Right Livelihood delves into the art of being deeply engaged in our work without being overwhelmed by it. In today’s fast-paced world driven by the desire to produce, possess, and consume, we rarely pause to reflect. Are we utilizing our true talents or merely earning a living? Are we aware of the environmental impact of our work? Do we genuinely enjoy our leisure time? Krishnamurti offers profound and eloquent teachings that address these essential questions. Why You Should Read? Gain Insight into Purposeful Work: Understand how to align your career with your inner values rather than external demands. Foster Environmental Awareness: Reflect on how your professional choices impact the world around you. Encourage Personal Growth: Explore whether your work nurtures your talents or simply fulfills economic needs. Achieve Work-Life Balance: Discover ways to engage passionately with your tasks while savoring your downtime. Embrace Krishnamurti’s Wisdom: Learn from thought-provoking insights that challenge societal norms and inspire self-reflection. Krishnamurti wisely states: “Is it not necessary for each to know for oneself what is the right means of livelihood? If we are avaricious, envious, seeking power, then our means of livelihood will correspond to our inward demands and so produce a world of competition, ruthlessness, oppression, ultimately ending in war.”
