Perfectly Norman

Perfectly Norman is a picture book about Norman, an ordinary boy whose life changes when he suddenly sprouts a beautiful pair of wings and feels utterly himself when he uses them. Afraid of what others might think, he hides his wings under a big, heavy coat, only to discover that pretending to be “normal” is exhausting and stops him from enjoying the things he loves. With bold, expressive artwork and a simple, heartfelt narrative, the book encourages children to embrace what makes them different and shows that being truly yourself is the only way to feel free.
