Almost all the stories have the rote of children in one way or other. Further, the situation of children who are living and working in difficult circumstances, such as street kids, child vendors, physically challenged kids, domestic child helpers, child hawkers, scavenging children are well portrayed in this collection. Moreover, this not only helps recognize children's problems in society but also promotes children's participation in their social lives. Stories in this collection deplore the exploitation and abuse of children, but children are also taught to respect the value of dignified deeds. This collection also has stories related to our culture and festivals like Dashain, Bhai Tika, Chhath and Holi as children love festivals, and these stories give children messages of love, friendship, unity and cooperation. And most importantly the stories in this collection colourfully paint a true picture of children's relationship with the society. Being a young writer, Kartikeya has contributed a lot in the field of child literature in Nepal. His continuous involvement and dedication for the last ten years in this field have made him an author of over a dozen of books for children. His works in this field have not, only offered intellectual inputs to children, but also establistird him as a powerful messenger of the rights of children.
