Pyramids (Discworld #7)

Young Prince Teppic leaves his desert homeland for Ankh-Morpork, seeking the finest education money can buy at the prestigious Assassins’ Guild. But his life takes a dramatic turn when his father dies unexpectedly, forcing Teppic to abandon the art of silent killing for the far messier world of politics. Returning to the tiny, impoverished kingdom of Djelibeybi, he must step into the role of pharaoh, where ancient traditions demand he build a vast pyramid in honour of his father—one so grand it could ruin his kingdom and bend the very laws of time and space. Why You Should Read? A witty blend of fantasy, satire, and adventure set in the Discworld universe. Memorable characters, including a teenage pharaoh navigating the absurdities of tradition. Humorous commentary on politics, religion, and the burden of leadership. Imaginative world-building filled with pyramids, gods, and a touch of time-warping magic. Perfect for readers seeking a clever, fast-paced, and entertaining escape.
