Ravis Roar

Ravi’s Roar is a Big Bright Feelings picture book about Ravi, the smallest in his family, whose frustrating day—too short for the monkey bars, too little for the big slide, left out of games—makes his anger build and build. When Ravi finally explodes, he turns into a roaring tiger who can do anything he wants, but soon realises that no one wants to play with a growling, wild tiger who won’t share or be kind. After he calms down, says sorry, and turns back into a boy, Ravi learns better ways to express big angry feelings without hurting his family and friends, giving children a clear, relatable model for handling temper outbursts.
