Ruled Book 3 Outlaws Series

Ruled is the third and final novel in Elle Kennedy’s Outlaws series. Set in a harsh future world, it follows Reese, the capable and dangerous leader of an outlaw settlement, as she confronts a romantic choice involving Rylan, a charismatic newcomer, and Sloan, her loyal, reserved protector and longtime friend. Rylan is used to getting what he wants, but Reese resists him despite their attraction. His pursuit forces a reckoning with Sloan’s unspoken love for Reese and the history that has kept Reese and Sloan apart. Rather than reducing the story to a conventional love triangle, the novel explores whether all three characters can create a relationship built on trust, consent, and emotional honesty. Reese’s past also raises the emotional stakes: her last relationship ended violently, leaving her wary of choosing wrongly again. The book combines sexual tension and romance with the broader dangers, loyalties, and survival politics of the Outlaws world.
