Nestle in the heart of the Himalayas and potected by a complex geography of towering mountains and deep valleys, Bhutan is undoubtedly one of the most mysterious countries on the planet. In the furthest reaches of eastern Bhutan near the indian state of Arunachal Pradesh, the villages of Sakteng and Merak are perched some 3000 meters above sea level.
