The Diary of A Young Girl

The Diary of A Young Girl

By Anne Frank · Published by Classic Editions

It was Anne's birthday on June 12, 1942 when she was thirteen years old. She went into the sitting room in the morning to unwrap gifts. She had plenty of presents and a dairy was one of them. When a man's heart is full of emotions and thoughts, he needs a safety valve to give them a safe passage to come out. Finding no safe passage he feels choked and suffocated. A person feeling lonely in a crowd wants someone to talk to. In that case he finds a close friend in a dairy. Anne starts writing her diary to unload the burden of her heart and feel normal. The dairy of a young girl presents the portrait of a girl who develops gradually. Her journey starts from infatuation and ends with maturity. This journey shows that Anne is plucky, has guts and grits, positive views and adjusting nature. I would like to recommend this book to all the young girls as it is a story of a teenage girl who is curious about changes taking place in her anatomy to an accepting young women who is well aware of her duties and responsibilities
