the heritage of dalits

This book endeavours to show that whatever the abuses committed in the name of caste, that the idea of equality has always reigned supreme in the minds of India's sages. Accounts of inspirational personalities who contributed to the emancipation of the lower classes, are interspersed with inspirational writings including experts from the Mahabharata and Bhagavad Gita. This book will be enjoyed by anyone with an interest in issues relating to discrimination or Indian history.
