The Odyssey And The Iliad Complete Gothic Fantasy

This book compiles two of the greatest poetic epics of Greek folklore in one volume. The Illiad is the retelling of the Trojan War, focusing on the tribulations of Achilles in battle. The Odyssey tells the story of the mythical hero Odysseus as he returns home and the stories of his strange and tragic encounters along the way. For any reader looking to get these two works of Homer combined, for those interested in Greek myth and folklore but haven’t tackled it, the epic challenge (of 432 pages) could be theirs. The book sports a handsome hardcover with imagery reminiscent of Grecian urn, suitable as a gift.
