Us Against You

In Fredrik Backman's poignant follow-up to Beartown, the small hockey-obsessed community faces its greatest challenge yet. After the devastating events of the previous year, Beartown is dealt another blow: its beloved local hockey team is set to be disbanded. This fuels an already bitter rivalry with the neighboring town of Hed, whose team now boasts former Beartown players. As tensions escalate, a surprising new coach arrives, tasked with forging a new team around players like the lightning-fast Amat, the intense Benji, and the rebellious Vidar. Their struggle to unite against their rivals will test old loyalties, forge new bonds, and ultimately lead to a tragic confrontation that forces both towns to question the true cost of their passion for the game. Why You Should Read?
