Wildlands

“Wildlands” is Brogen Murphy’s debut middle grade survival novel set about twenty five years in the future, when a vast area of Britain has been rewilded and closed to humans so wolves, lynx, bison, and other wildlife can roam free. Thirteen year old Astrid and her younger sister Indie are travelling by high-speed train through this sanctuary when a brief stop leaves them accidentally stranded; with only a rucksack, no phone signal, and each other, they must navigate astonishing natural wonders and real dangers as every wrong turn leads them deeper into the Wildlands.
