Common questions
How much does HSK cost in Nepal?
The test itself is around Rs 3,000. Indicative fee at the Confucius Institute test centre. Class fees at a consultancy are separate and vary by batch size and duration — ask for the fee in writing before enrolling.
Which countries accept HSK?
China — with different score bars each. Check the destination page for the number that applies to you.
Do I need a class, or can I prepare for HSK myself?
Plenty of students self-prepare. A class buys structure, mock tests under timing, and feedback on speaking and writing — the two sections that are hardest to mark yourself.
