Abinash Shrestha

Abinash Shrestha is a Nepali author and literary editor associated with the Nepali language heritage of the Indian subcontinent. His work आधुनिक भारतीय नेपाली कथा (Modern Indian Nepali Stories) compiles the short fiction of Nepali-speaking writers in India.

Drawing together a community of authors whose work often goes unnoticed by mainstream publishing, the collection affirms the continuing richness of Nepali writing in India. Shrestha's editorial labour records and celebrates that tradition for readers on both sides of the border.
