Alec Ross

Alec Ross is a policy analyst and former senior adviser to American diplomacy who writes on geopolitics and technological change. His book The Raging 2020s dissects the forces of protest, populism and inequality that have shaken the West and asks what responsible business and government must do in response.

Drawing on reporting from dozens of countries, Ross connects the protests of the last decade to the technology and capital concentrated in a handful of cities. He is a widely read commentator on the intersection of economics, politics and technology, and a former distinguished visiting fellow in major research centres.
