Ali Hazelwood

Ali Hazelwood is an Italian-American (grown in Japan) author whose enemies-to-lovers STEM romances became a phenomenon of the 2020s. Debut The Love Hypothesis and books like Bride, The Seagull, and Check & Mate introduced a generation to romances set among scientists, professors and chess champions, with physics-jargon charm and hard-won happiness.

A neuroscientist with a PhD, Hazelwood writes novels as well as her previous career in academic research and her celebrated Cameo-letter writing. Her books are known for insider science humour, sex-positive warmth and intricate community, and have been translated into dozens of languages.
