Andrew Cohen

Andrew Cohen is an American spiritual teacher, spiritual teacher in the lineage of nondual Advaita, and founder of the evolutionary spirituality movement. His books, including Living Enlightenment, distil the core teaching that enlightenment is not merely personal peace but participation in cosmic evolution.

Cohen studied with the British-Indian guru Da Love-Ananda (Adi Da) before splitting to form his own teaching community. He brought a Western, evolutionary and neo-advaitic perspective to a global following, integrating science and spiritual practice, though his career has also generated controversy over community dynamics.
