Andrew Roberts

Andrew Roberts is a British historian and biographer, one of the most prominent and prolific writers of historical non-fiction working today. He is the author of the acclaimed Napoleon the Great — the definitive modern biography of the emperor — Leadership in War, The Storm of War, Churchill and the classic A History of the English-Speaking Peoples After 1900.

A fellow of the Royal Historical Society and of the Royal Society of Literature, Roberts writes with a strong conservative and revisionist bent and a gift for narrative. His books, translated into dozens of languages, are praised for archival research and stamina, and he is a frequent television commentator on the history of power and the Second World War.
