Angela Rodel

Angela Rodel is an American-Bulgarian translator who has become the most important bridge between Bulgarian literature and the English-speaking world. Her translations include Georgi Gospodinov's Time Shelter (winner of the 2023 International Booker Prize), The Physics of Sorrow, and novels and poems by dozens of Bulgarian writers.
