Angela Saini

Angela Saini is a British journalist, author and broadcaster who writes on science and society. Her book Inferior — and the related TED talk and series — exposes the long history of pseudoscience used to justify sex discrimination, examining how science has misconceived female biology, strength and intelligence.

Saini's other works include Superior and The Patriarchs, tracing the roots of race and patriarchy. A former staff writer at New Scientist and BBC, she reports what science actually says about gender, race and power, and her books have been widely praised for nuance; they are now fixtures of modern science communication.
