Anirudha Bhattacharjee

Anirudha Bhattacharjee is an Indian journalist and music biographer who has documented the golden age of Hindi film and Bengali music. His book S.D. Burman — the acclaimed biography of the trailblazing music director Sachin Dev Burman — traces the maestro's journey from the princely state of Tripura to the summit of Bombay cinema.

His work, regarded as definitive in Indian music scholarship, preserves the craft that shaped the sound of Bollywood across five decades.
