Robert T. Kiyosaki
Robert T. Kiyosaki
Robert T. Kiyosaki is an American investor, entrepreneur and author whose book Rich Dad Poor Dad (1997) became one of the bestselling personal-finance titles of all time, introducing millions of readers to the difference between assets and liabilities — and to the importance of financial education over conventional schooling.
Through his "Rich Dad" parables, Kiyosaki taught a generation to think about money differently, arguing that the wealthy buy assets while everyone else buys liabilities, and that escaping the rat race means making money work for you rather than working for money. His Rich Dad series, the Cashflow board games and live seminars built a global financial-literacy movement, and after the 2007 crisis his warnings about investor thinking reached an even wider audience. He remains one of the most widely read — and debated — voices in personal finance.
