Legends and Lattes

Legends & Lattes follows Viv, a battle‑worn orc barbarian who cashes out of dungeon‑crawling with one last score and heads to the city of Thune to chase an unlikely dream: opening a coffee shop in a world that has never heard of coffee. With the help of a rattkin baker, a succubus assistant, and a growing cast of regulars, Viv builds a new life grounded not in combat but in cinnamon rolls, lattes, and community. Branded as “high fantasy, low stakes,” the novel swaps epic battles for renovation mishaps, protection rackets, gentle romance, and the everyday risks of starting over, making it ideal for fans of cozy fantasy, slice‑of‑life storytelling, and feel‑good BookTok favorites. As the cafe’s success draws unwanted attention from a mob boss and an old adventuring associate, Viv must defend the home and found family she has created—this time without falling back on her old violent habits.
