Ten Little Dinosaurs

Ten Little Dinosaurs is a lively rhyming counting adventure written by Mike Brownlow and illustrated by Simon Rickerty. Ten newly hatched dinosaurs leave their eggs to explore a prehistoric world, meeting a stomping Diplodocus, a grumpy Triceratops, and a hungry T. rex. The story invites children to count down from ten to one and back again as the dinosaurs disappear and reunite. Its bouncy rhymes, bold illustrations, dinosaur sound effects, and things to spot on every page make it ideal for interactive read-aloud time and early numeracy practice. The original Orchard Books picture-book edition was first published in 2015, has 32 pages, and is generally recommended for ages 3–5, though it can be enjoyed by dinosaur-loving children aged 4 and above.
