Twitter / X Video Downloader
Paste any public tweet link and save its video as MP4 at original quality - free, no app, no login.
Paste a public post link above to grab its video.
How to download a tweet video
Open the tweet on twitter.com or x.com, tap the share icon and choose 'Copy link'. Paste it above and press Get video. The MP4 is pulled from X's own video servers at the original bitrate, so what you save looks exactly like what you watched.
GIFs, threads and multi-video tweets
X's 'GIFs' are actually short silent MP4s, and they download just like videos. If a single tweet contains several clips - common in sports and news threads - every one of them is listed with its own Download button. Quote tweets are separate posts, so copy the link from inside the quote itself.
Why the file has no watermark
Unlike TikTok, X never burns a username into video frames, so downloads are clean masters. That makes them handy for journalists archiving a breaking clip, teachers pulling an example into a lesson, or fans keeping a goal that will inevitably get taken down by rights-holder takedowns.
Protected accounts and deleted tweets
Only public tweets can be fetched - protected (locked) accounts serve media to followers only, so there is nothing to read without logging in as you, which we will never ask to do. Deleted tweets vanish from X entirely and cannot be recovered by any tool.
Copyright in Nepal and beyond
A downloaded clip stays copyrighted by its uploader. Personal offline viewing, research and fair-comment criticism are generally fine; re-posting the full clip as your own content or monetising someone else’s footage is not. Newsrooms should follow their own verification and rights-checking workflow before broadcast.
How it works
Copy the tweet's link via the share icon on twitter.com or x.com.
Paste it above and press Get video - all clips in the tweet are detected.
Tap Download to save each MP4 you want.
Why use this tool?
-
Works with both twitter.com and x.com links, including mobile share-sheet URLs.
-
Silent GIF-style clips download too - they are MP4s under the hood.
-
Multi-video tweets list every clip separately.
Frequently asked questions
Do x.com links work or only twitter.com?
Both - old twitter.com/status/... links and new x.com/status/... links resolve identically.
Can I download a video from a protected account?
No. Protected accounts only serve media to approved followers, so there is no public file to fetch.
The tweet had two videos - can I get both?
Yes. Every clip found in the tweet gets its own row with a separate Download button.
Does downloading include the caption and replies?
No - you get the video file only. The tweet text is shown for reference but is not part of the MP4.
Is it free?
Completely free, no signup and no watermark - just a light rate limit to keep things fast.
