Graphing Calculator

Plot up to three equations of x on a live grid. Zoom, pan, fit the axes and trace exact values with your mouse.

Try:

Drag to pan · use +/- to zoom · move the mouse across the graph to read exact values.

What is a graphing calculator, and how does this free Nepal tool work?

A graphing calculator plots mathematical functions as curves so you can see their shape and intersections. Scolar’s Graphing Calculator is free and browser-only: enter a function, adjust the range, and see the graph. No sign-up, no watermark, nothing uploaded.

Why it is free, with no sign-up and unlimited use

The plotting runs on your device, so nothing is uploaded and no account is needed. That keeps the tool 100% free, adds no watermark, asks for no email, and lets you plot unlimited functions.

How to graph a function, step by step

  • Enter a function such as y = x^2 or sin(x).
  • Adjust the range or add a second function to compare.
  • See the plotted graph instantly — nothing is uploaded.

For learners across Nepal

Graphs make maths and physics click for students and teachers. This tool works offline after loading, so it is handy in classrooms and libraries without internet.

“A Nepali student should not pay for a graphing calculator app. Type the function, see the curve — free.”

Graphs drawn free in Nepal

I plot functions here for calculus class. No signup, no ads, works on my phone in the library.

How it works

1

Type one or more expressions of x - like sin(x), x^2 - 3 or 1/x - in the boxes above.

2

The curves draw instantly; use the buttons to zoom, fit the y-axis or reset, and drag to pan.

3

Move your mouse over the graph to read each curve's exact y value at any x.

Why use this tool?

  • Supports trigonometric, inverse trig, hyperbolic, root, exponential and logarithmic functions plus pi and e.

  • Implicit multiplication works - write 2x, 3sin(x) or (x+1)(x-1) exactly as you would on paper.

  • Asymptotes are detected automatically so curves like 1/x or tan(x) are not joined by false lines.

  • Everything renders locally on canvas - no account, no upload, no limits.

Frequently asked questions

What syntax does it support?

Expressions in x such as sin(x), x^2-3, sqrt(x), abs(x)-2 or e^(x/2). Functions include sin, cos, tan, their inverses, sinh/cosh/tanh, sqrt, abs, log (base 10), ln, exp, floor, ceil, round and sign, plus constants pi and e.

How do I zoom and pan?

Use the plus and minus buttons to zoom, drag anywhere on the graph to pan, Fit Y to rescale vertically around your curves, and the circular arrow to reset everything.

Can I plot more than one equation?

Yes - up to three at once, each drawn in its own colour so you can compare shapes and spot intersections.

Why is there no eval() involved?

The page compiles your expression into a small parse tree itself, which is safer and lets it give precise error messages like "Missing )".
