Turning spreadsheets into shareable PDFs

CSV to PDF takes the tabular data you already have - marks, attendance, budgets, lab results - and lays it out as a clean, print-ready table. Instead of screenshotting a spreadsheet or pasting into a word processor, you get a tidy PDF in seconds, ideal for emailing or printing.

Uploading a file or pasting text

You can drop in a .csv (or .txt) file, or open the “paste CSV text” box and paste rows directly - handy for small tables copied from elsewhere. The first row is always treated as the header, and a live preview shows you the row and column count before you generate anything.

How columns and widths are handled

Column widths are calculated from the longest entry in each column, with a sensible minimum so nothing collapses. Longer cells wrap onto multiple lines inside the same row, and the row grows to fit. If a table is wider than the page it is simply split across pages, with the header repeated when that option is on.

Delimiters and encoding

The parser follows the common CSV convention: commas separate fields, double quotes wrap fields that contain commas, and a pair of quotes escapes a quote. It expects UTF-8 text (including a leading BOM). Note it is a comma-separated parser - files using semicolons or tabs need to be saved as comma-separated CSV first.

Page layout options

Choose A4 or Letter, portrait or landscape (landscape suits wide tables), and a font size from 7 to 12 pt - smaller text fits more per page. You can also toggle “repeat header row on every page” so long tables stay readable after a page break. Made for students in Nepal - 100% free, no watermark.

Privacy for sensitive data

Parsing and PDF drawing both run entirely in your browser, so marks sheets, customer lists or accounts never touch a server. That makes it safe for confidential material - nothing leaves your device. Made for students in Nepal - 100% free, no watermark.

Frequently asked questions

Is the CSV to PDF converter free?

Yes - completely free, no sign-up and no watermarks. Convert as many spreadsheets as you like. Made for students in Nepal - 100% free, no watermark.

My PDF failed to build with an encoding warning.

The built-in PDF fonts cover English/Latin characters only. Non-Latin scripts (e.g. Devanagari) are replaced with “?” for now - export your sheet with transliterated headers or use a Unicode font workflow. Made for students in Nepal - 100% free, no watermark.

How are very wide tables handled?

Column widths adapt to their content, long text wraps inside cells, and rows that don’t fit continue on a fresh page - with the header repeated when that option is on. Made for students in Nepal - 100% free, no watermark.

Does my data get uploaded?

No. Parsing and PDF generation both happen locally in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere. Made for students in Nepal - 100% free, no watermark.

Can it read semicolon or tab-separated files?

This tool expects comma-separated values (the standard .csv format). If your export uses semicolons or tabs, open it in a spreadsheet program and save it again as a comma-separated CSV first, then upload. Made for students in Nepal - 100% free, no watermark.

How do I stop a header row repeating on every page?

The “Repeat header row on every page” checkbox is on by default so long tables stay clear. Simply untick it before generating if you would rather print the header only once at the top. Made for students in Nepal - 100% free, no watermark.
