What Markdown features are supported

The converter handles headings (H1-H4), paragraphs, bullet and ordered lists, blockquotes, fenced code blocks and horizontal rules. Bold and italic markers are preserved as styled text where the font supports it. Most GitHub-flavoured Markdown you already write will render sensibly, so you can reuse notes written for other tools.

Code blocks and quotes

Fenced code blocks are drawn in a monospace font inside a shaded box, so snippets stay readable and separate from prose. Blockquotes are set in italic with a left border, making them obvious callouts for definitions or important reminders. This is handy for computer-science or maths notes that mix explanation with examples.

Images, links and tables

Because the conversion is done with vector text rather than a full browser render, embedded images, hyperlinks and tables are not included in the output. If you need those, write the text in Markdown and add images or links afterwards in a PDF editor. The trade-off is a small, sharp, portable file that opens anywhere.

Choosing A4 vs Letter

A4 is the standard paper size across Nepal and most of the world (210 × 297 mm); Letter is the US size (8.5 × 11 in). Pick A4 for school and university submissions unless your teacher specifies otherwise. The page size only affects layout and margins - the content and formatting stay the same.
