What is an interactive periodic table, and how does this free Nepal tool work?

An interactive periodic table lets you look up any element's symbol, atomic number and group in one place. Scolar's Periodic Table is a free, browser-only tool for Nepal: tap an element to see its details, and filter by category. No sign-up, no watermark, nothing uploaded.

Why it is free, with no sign-up and unlimited use

The element data loads in your browser, so nothing about your searches is stored and no account is needed. That keeps the tool 100% free, adds no watermark, asks for no email, and lets you explore unlimited elements.

How to use the periodic table, step by step

  • Open the table and tap any element (H, He, Fe, and so on).
  • Read its atomic number, mass and group.
  • Filter by category to study a group at a time.

Chemistry in the Nepali syllabus

Nepal's Grade 11 and 12 chemistry and IOE, CEE and MBBS entrance exams expect students to know element symbols, groups and periods. This tool gives a student in any Nepali school a quick, offline reference after the page loads, helpful where printed charts are scarce.

“A Nepali science student should not buy an app to glance at the periodic table. Open it - free.”

How it works

1

Scan the colour-coded table or type an element name, symbol or number in the search box.

2

Tap any tile to see its atomic number, mass, period and group in the detail card.

3

Use the legend to tell metals, metalloids, nonmetals and noble gases apart at a glance.

Why use this tool?

  • Covers all 118 elements including the newest superheavy discoveries.

  • Bracketed masses mark synthetic elements with no stable isotope.

  • The lanthanide and actinide rows are shown separately, as in printed tables.

  • Loads instantly and keeps working offline - perfect for revision on mobile data.

Frequently asked questions

What does each tile show?

The atomic number (protons), the chemical symbol and, when you select it, the name, standard atomic mass, category, period and group.

Why are some masses in brackets?

Those elements have no stable isotope, so the most stable one's mass number is quoted instead of a standard atomic weight.

What are the bottom two rows?

The lanthanides (57-71) and actinides (89-103), pulled out of the main grid to keep it compact - their slot in group 3 is marked with dashed placeholders.

Does it work without internet?

Yes - once loaded, the whole table runs locally in your browser with no connection needed.
