What is DNS-over-HTTPS?
It is DNS resolved over HTTPS, which encrypts the query. This tool uses Cloudflare’s public DoH endpoint from your browser.
Why might a record not show?
Either the type does not exist for that domain, or the resolver has no cached answer. Try a different type like A or TXT.
Is the result authoritative?
It is what the public resolver returns, which is usually correct but may lag recent changes during propagation.
Can I look up any domain?
Yes - any public domain. You cannot query internal or private DNS through this tool.
